Bar Design
|
Our "Classic" bar and back bar plans are designed for use by those having average woodworking knowledge and equipment. The coved contour of the arm rail shown at left is accurately machined using an easy setup on a standard table saw! Our plans include complete step-by-step instructions with illustrations showing exactly how it is done.
The two-piece wall unit at right is just what you need to enhance your bar room layout. The upper section has lots of room for bottles, steins, and collectables. The back wall mirror adds "depth" to the display. The counter top is designed to accept a standard size stainless steel bar sink which of course, is optional. Best of all, our plans make this beauty easy to build.

Speedy-Build Compact Combo built by Dan H.
Brunswick Hills, OH
"My fiancee and I were searching for ideas on what to put in the morning room of our new house. A bar sounded like the most useful way to take advantage of the wonderful space. We were shocked to find how expensive pre-built bar sets were! We built these two beautiful pieces for a fraction of the price. This was a great experience for two first-time woodworkers. These are the easiest, most complete directions I've seen. Great job, we will be enjoying the fruits of our labor for years to come!"

Awesome in Oak...
"Classic" L shaped bar built by Mike N., Naperville, IL
..."Your plans were great!! The entire package was very well done -- from the well laid out drawings to the cutting and materials list. I also thought the design was very well conceived which allowed me to make some of my own modifications to suit my wife's requirements as well as allowing me to fit the bar in the space that I had to work with. I looked all over the web and found your plans to be by far the best I found!! Thanks again for helping me to put the finishing touch on my basement remodeling project."

Speedy-build straight bar customized by Jason J., Three Rivers, MI
"...attached some photos I took of my recently finished bar. I purchased and used your speedy build instructions as a template for my bar's construction. The instructions were logical and very easy to follow. I decided to use corrugated galvanized metal for the front and sides of my bar to keep with the "stainless steel" look that I was after. It worked very well and is a low maintenance approach".

Speedy-Build L shaped bar built by Chris G., Telford, PA
"...Your plans are straightforward and you responded to my initial question about the plans very quickly so I could get started right away. I followed your directions to a 'T' and it all worked just as advertised. I can't wait for our first gathering to break it in officially, it really adds so much to our basement. Everyone who sees it is very impressed and can't believe I did it by myself. Even my friend, who is a woodshop teacher where I teach is impressed - that says it all! Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can! Yours is the site for bar plans, I am singing your praises to anyone who sees the bar! Thank you very much!!! Chris G., Telford, PA More Info
