HB-002-R "You and your team made it very easy for me to build my very own bar set. When my wife and I went out to look at bars, we could not believe how expensive they were. I thought to myself if I can get a plan I like, I can build one myself. After looking on the Internet at several sites at plans that I was not happy about, I came across your plans. I was very impressed with how the L-shaped plan looked and decided to purchase it. I am very happy I did. I decided to build it out of red oak. Building the bar was a time consuming process only because I am not a woodworker. Without your plans, it would have taken me a lot longer to build it. Although it was time consuming, I must say I appreciate it more than I would have buying it from the store. I can now sit back and enjoy the bar knowing I built it. The plans were very detailed and easy to follow. I was especially impressed with how it laid out the cuts for the different pieces on the wood to save waste. Everyone who has seen the bar was amazed. A Texas Classic...
 HB-002 ...I wanted to thank you for the great plans. This was my first attempt at making any kind of furniture, and your plans made it fairly easy. I adapted them to suit my boss (wife), given the space we had, and I borrowed some ideas from the other pics on your website. The bar is made from reclaimed redwood from an old jacuzzi building and some Peruvian mahogany. The top is a single piece of copper laminated to MDF with four layers of epoxy resin over the copper. The draft beer tower is copper plated to match the top, with a brass faucet & drip tray, to match the foot rail. The decorations on the front are mahogany and were done by a friend @ Shopbot Tools, Inc. on one of their CNC routers. Thanks again for the wonderful plans, I couldn't have done it without them. HB-002-E... "I had to email you to show off my finished bar pictures. Your bar plans gave me the inside view of the “tricks” to making a professional piece of furniture that I am very proud to show off. This was my first crack at this extensive of a project and I lost 10 lbs this winter building it. The project kept me off the couch and motivated me to keep active. I searched extensively for bar plans on the Internet and building centers but your plans are awesome and were worth every penny. The bar is made entirely of red oak with a laminate top. I used tongue and groove oak paneling that matched the rest of my house. I also used the Kreg Rocket jig and the pocket holes made it really easy for a rookie to assemble. There is no need to wait for the glue to dry using pocket holes when assembling. Ed K., Fountain City, Wisconsin More Info

HB-002 "I just completed my bar (Some Beach) using your plans. I am a novice when it comes to woodworking, however the plans were fairly straightforward. I was able to complete the bar with a minimum of nervousness. I used contoured arm rails and had to modify the top to accommodate the rails. Even with the high cost of oak, the materials only ran about $1000. Overall the plans are Great." Bob S.
