Important Note:
To view and print our downloadable files, you MUST have Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 5.1 or a newer version installed on your computer. To determine what version you have, open the program, select the Help menu, and choose "About Acrobat Reader". If you have version 3.0 or 4.0 you will need to upgrade to a newer version. Click the link to the right to download the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. You should install the software on your computer before placing your download order so that you can use it to open and print your plans immediately after downloading.

EASY DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS :
You can download your plans immediately after purchase by means of the
Download Instructions for Bar Plans: (The PDF plans are contained in a self-extracting .zip file wirth a .EXE file extension. Since the files are "zipped" in PC format, Mac users may not be able to open the files and may want to order their plans by mail instead.)
1. Click the DOWNLOAD IT NOW button once. If a "File Download" box appears click the Save button.
2. When the "Save As" box (or "Save to" box if using Netscape) appears,select a destination folder for the file and click Save. When the "Download complete" message appears, select Open Folder (or Reveal Location if using Netscape).
3. Locate and Double-Click the file (Tip: it is highlighted ) that you just downloaded. Choose a folder in which to save the PDF files using the WinZip Self-Extractor box, "Unzip to folder" field. Type the file path or browse to the folder of your choice, and click OK.
4. Click Unzip, Click OK, and Close the box.
5. Double-click the "KEY" file to finish opening your plans for printing!

I left the receipt page, and now I can't get back to download my plans.

The download terminated before it was finished and I lost the receipt page.

If you do not download your plans from the receipt page, our shopping cart will automatically send a download link to the email address that you provided with your order. Please make sure that you provide a valid and accurate address and that your mailbox is not full.

When I go to download my plans I get a security warning.
|
This is normal. Your browser's security settings are detecting the self-extracting (.exe) file that contains your plans. There are two "zipped" files contained by the "exe" file. The "exe" file will automatically extract (unzip) the files in PDF format to the folder you specify. We use this method as a convenience to those who do not have "Unzip" software installed on their computer.

The "File download" box disappeared. I did not get the "Download complete" message. I don't know where the file is.

While the file is downloading, make sure that the "Close this dialog box when download completes" box is NOT checked. The file will be located in the directory that you chose as the destination folder in Step 2 above. If you can't remember the folder name, you can do a search on your hard drive for the file name. You can find the file name at the end of the link contained in the email sent to the email address you provided with your order.

I have the downloaded (.exe) file. How do I get to the plans?

Follow the directions in Steps 3, 4 and 5 above.

When I try to open the downloaded (.exe) file, I get the massage "This is not a valid Win32 file" or a similar message.
|
This message means that the download did not complete fully or successfully. You will need to download the file once again. You can download the file at least 3 times if necessary in this situation before you reach your access limitation.

I am unable to open the files. I get the message "There was an error opening the document" or "This viewer can not decrypt the document."
|
You need to upgrade to a newer version of Adobe Acrobat reader. Refer to the Important Note at the top of this page.

I have opened the "KEY" file, but I still can't open the plans.
|
Follow the instructions in the "KEY" file carefully. The password to open the plans must be entered exactly as described.

General Information:
Upon completion of the order process, your receipt will appear. If you have purchased "Plans by Mail" and "Plans by Download" on the same order, your receipt will display shipping and handling charges for the Mail order plans only. All download orders are free of S&H charges.
Note: Download time can be as little as 15 seconds or as long as 15 minutes per plan, depending on the file size and your connection speed. Download links expire 3 days from time of purchase so please download your plans as soon as possible.
